The Sheffield Lakeland Way (Midhope & Langsett Loop)


Follow a loop of the new Sheffield Lakeland Way, visiting Underbank, Midhope and Langsett Reservoirs through varied scenery from riverbank and forest to high moorland.

Walk length:  10.5 miles  (17km)

Start: Underbank Activity Centre car park, Stocksbridge, S36 4GH
Finish: at start

Travel: Meet leader at stand B1 in Sheffield Interchange at 09:55 to catch 57 bus at 10:02 to Unsliven Rd

Parking: Underbank Adventure Centre, Oaks Lane SK 246 992. Group will meet you there at approx 11:10

Terrain: Mostly good paths, with some stiles, but café and toilets en route

Led by: Rob Haslam, author of Walking South Yorkshire, Sheffield Greenway and The Sheffield Lakeland Way
