Sheffield Harvest Fayre is a new market style event set to celebrate the city’s vibrant food scene. Showcasing great local produce, mouth-watering street food and outstanding brewers/distillers, the Fayre will take place in the main harvest month of the year, 18 - 19 September.
From the same team that organise Sheffield Food Festival in May each year (the city’s largest free to attend event), this event is also set to take place in Sheffield City Centre and will span the Peace Gardens, Winter Gardens, Millennium Square, Town Hall Square and Fargate.
The Sheffield Harvest Fayre will be very similar to the Food Festival, but with an enhanced produce and artisan market section, featuring food producers and businesses from across the city and wider region, bringing a range of vegetables, fruits, spices, preserves, oils, cakes, cookery books, craft beers, gins, cakes and much more, for you to take home and enjoy.
The extensive Street Food market will also be jam-packed with delicious treats from local companies. With over 90% of the traders based in the city, it really will be a celebration of all things Sheffield food and drink.
If you're a food producer, street food trader or would like to run a food-themed event at the festival, head to the Events Collective website for more information here: www.eventscollective.com/sheffield-harvest-fayre
