No Bounds Festival 2019

Kelham Island Museum, Alma Street, Sheffield, South Yorkshire, S3 8RY
No Bounds Festival 2019

No Bounds Festival is a unique weekend event offering a multidisciplinary approach to the musical avant-garde.

Inviting an extensive list of some of the most forward-thinking names in electronic music and the arts, the three-day festival will descend on multiple venues across Sheffield, expanding on last year’s format to include an opening concert and exciting daytime programme at the historic Kelham Island Museum.

The first wave of confirmed names include Aurora Halal (Live), Caterina Barbieri + Reuben Spini (Live A/V), Courtesy, dBridge, DJ Q, Gábor Lázár (Live A/V), JASSS, Lanark Artefax (Live A/V), Lee Gamble (Live A/V), LSDXOXO, Mark Fell, Nkisi, rRoxymore, Shygirl (Live), SPFDJ, TSVI, Ziúr (Live), Zuli, and many more, with further headliners yet to be announced.

Kelham Island Museum is a relic of Sheffield’s steelmaking history, standing on an island in one of the city’s oldest industrial districts. Whilst providing a dramatic backdrop for the opening concert and daytime festivities across the weekend, the venue will also host performances and art pieces designed to engage with their surroundings, exploring multiple historic strands that lend to the city’s unique artistic footprint. Following the daytime proceedings, each evening will culminate with an all-night rave at Hope Works, brandishing a singular line-up of artists and collectives from some of the world’s most crucial underground scenes, both local and international. As with previous years, a stellar programme of arts and discourse will complement the music. More details will be unveiled on this shortly, but visitors can expect world premieres and panel discussions from luminaries across multiple fields.
