This historic urban walk from the city centre includes some surprising green spaces and looks at life past and present in Burngreave and Pitsmoor.

Walk length: 4.5 miles (7.2km)

Start: Monument in Fitzalan Square, S1 2AY
Finish: at start

Terrain: There is a long gentle climb up to Pitsmoor, but there will be stops at places of interest

Led by: Graham Jones. Volunteer at the Burngreave Messenger community paper

This walk is part of Sheffield Walking Festival and in partnership with Heritage Open Days
