Festival Of The Outdoors - MTB Fundamentals Taster - PM session

The Festival of the Outdoors returns this March, ready to kick off the city’s outdoor season with a full month of events and activities, celebrating the strength of Sheffield’s vibrant outdoor communities.

Taking place 1 - 31 March 2020, the festival includes a fantastic array of events from cycling, climbing, running, kayaking and orienteering to conservation activity, volunteering, talks and film screenings.

The outdoors is for everyone and with so much on offer in our wonderful city we want to spread the word as far and wide as possible. Whether it’s watching, participating or trying something for the very first time, there’s lots of opportunity to get involved- come and join us!

Building on the success of The Outdoor City Weekender and following the inaugural Festival of the Outdoors in 2019, this year’s event programme once gain include several major events with the Rab Climbing Works International Festival, Sheffield Adventure Film FestivalBig Running Weekend and The Magnificent Seven.

For 2020, we’re delighted to add Sheffield Half Marathon as one of the headline events, as well as the first ever Sheffield Bike Fest, which will take place at Kelham Island Museum.

The full event programme will be announced mid-February, but for the latest information be sure to follow The Outdoor City TwitterFacebook and Instagram channels for the latest updates. #FestivaloftheOutdoors   #TheOutdoorCity
