Get outdoors and get exploring with this interdisciplinary workshop exploring sound and ecology in Woodhouse Washlands.

Devised and hosted by artist duo a place of their own, this workshop brings together sound artist Gary Stewart, ecologist Phillip Warren and the Sheffield and Rotherham Wildlife Trust to explore different connections and interdependencies of these watery lands and those that dwell there, human and non-human.

The workshop will take place outdoors and will involve a walk across Woodhouse Washlands. Participants will have the opportunity to record sound as they walk.

Suitable for adults and young people ages 13+. Young people should be accompanied by an adult.

Places are free but limited, so please book in advance.

DOWN / Stream is part of WET / LAND / DWELLERS - a new project by a place of their own, aka Sam Vardy and Paula McCloskey.
