Sheffield Manor Lodge is a unique heritage attraction with Tudor Turret House and grounds, meadows, 1940s cottages, farm and café.

Explore the ruins that once held Mary, Queen of Scots prisoner. Take a guided tour or family trail into the Turret House to meet Bess of Hardwick and see a Tudor feast. Children can dress up and play in the giant sandpit or with the garden games. The gardens offer the chance to get lost in the lavender labyrinth, indulge in the scents of an apothecary's garden and wander down a river of flowers.

Surrounding the Tudor grounds, wildflower meadows offer a unique landscape rich in seasonal colour with beautiful displays of naturalistic planting. They offer the perfect place to spot butterflies, bees and a whole host of insects and pollinators.

Manor Oaks farm reopens from June 2019 where visitors can meet pygmy goats, donkeys, pigs, rabbits and chickens or have a go on the farm trail. Just next door, the 1940s cottages bring to life the farm during World War Two. Hide in the Anderson shelter, wash without electricity, make a peg doll and put out an incendiary bomb!

Don’t forget to stop by the Rhubarb Shed Café for a spot of lunch or coffee and cake.

Please check the website or give the team a call for full opening hours as times can vary.
