About

Holly Hagg is famous for their regular guided alpaca treks amidst woodland and beautiful scenery in Sheffield's Rivelin Valley. Advance booking for treks is required via their website. They also have monthly family friendly events to meet and feed the alpacas, go pond dipping and explore the 3 acre food growing garden and meadows. For these on-field events just turn up - details on the Events section of their website. Or you could join one of their volunteer sessions which are held twice a week for fresh air, friendship and health.

Holly Hagg Community Farm is a not-for-profit organisation. They grow their own organic food and care for three acres, six alpacas and the rich natural wildlife that make their field their home. They use Permaculture Design which involves working with nature to create a sustainable healthy environment. Everyone at Holly Hagg Community Farm loves working together, sharing skills and being ingenious with junk. Volunteer sessions are held most Wednesday and Saturday afternoons to maintain the land, grow food and look after the plants and animals. New volunteers are always welcome, see the volunteer page for more information. They hold open days for the public to find out all about the farm, meet the alpacas and welcome visiting groups to work with them or just enjoy what they have at the farm. Have a look at the events page to find out about upcoming events.
