Waleswood caravan and camping site is located in 12.5 acres of land overlooking and with access to walk into the 750 acre Rother Valley Country park.

Ideally located on the borders of South Yorkshire, Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire to visit many attractions. 10 miles from Sheffield, Rotherham, Chesterfield and Worksop.

It is located on the Sustrans national cycle route 6 and Trans Pennine Trail spur to Chesterfield, Sheffield and Rotherham, offering plenty of opportunities to cycle and walk as far as you like.

A family-friendly and dog-friendly campsite offering lots of opportunities to enjoy the outdoors. Facilities onsite include; reception, a small shop and licensed café, outdoor play area, outdoor table tennis, outdoor table football, relaxation sensory garden, male and female shower and toilet blocks, unisex accessible showers and toilets, family bathroom with a bath and an accessible shower and adult rise and fall changing bed, baby-changing facilities, family shower areas. Lit covered washing up areas.

Rother Valley Country Park main facilities are approx. 10 minutes’ walk from the campsite, with cycle routes, walking, nature reserve, bird watching opportunities, water-sports, cycle hire including traditional cycles, mountain bikes, family bikes, accessible bikes, hire of wheel chairs, hire of mobility scooters, water-sports including courses and hire of equipment, water zorbing for 1 or 2 people, canoeing for one, two or three people, family boat hire, sailing, paddle boarding, windsurfing, miniature train, station farm feed and pet the animals, Rother Valley golf centre, Sheffield Cable Water-ski and Aqua Park, Sheffield Jet Ski Club, Newfoundland dog club, parkrun, dog agility club and many events.
