Finkle Green Bed and Breakfast is situated within walking distance of Wortley village with its Historic Church and Hall, Gastro pub, award winning CAMRA club and Tea Room. The Tour de Yorkshire 2017 passed by the garden and the TransPennine Trail Wortley Junction is 3 minutes down the road. There are beautiful British award winning walking routes on the doorstep and we have storage for bikes and walking gear.
Believe it or not we are still only 20 minutes drive to Sheffield city centre and 6 minutes drive to M1 Jnc 36.
All rooms have been recently refurbished with ensuite shower/bath rooms. Breakfast is served in the Breakfast room with panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. Breakfast ingredients are sourced locally from local producers where possible.

If you are driving from Sheffield (20 minute drive) take the A61 out of the city then take the A629 to Huddersfield at the Jet garage - just before you come into Wortley village and after the 30mph sign turn left into Finkle Street Lane, when you see the chevron and you hit the Finkle (elbow in the road) we are on the left hand side .
We are 45 minutes drive to Manchester Airport over the scenic Woodhead Pass
Finkle Green is 6 minutes drive from either Junction 35a (northbound) or Junction 36 (north or southbound) of the M1. Follow the signs for Manchester over Tankersley roundabout (McDonalds and Premier Inn) and take the first exit signposted Huddersfield A629, turn left for Wortley Village and just when you see the 30 mph sign turn left onto Finkle Street Lane. When you see the chevron and you hit the Finkle (elbow in the road) we are on the left hand side.
Local train stations at Chapeltown, Sheffield or Penistone, Barnsley. It may be possible to pick up from Chapeltown or Penistone stations.
