The Village Screen are seeing out the summer in style, with an Open-Air Cinema in the grounds of one of Sheffield’s most grandest venues, Kenwood Hall Hotel in Netheredge, 2 - 4 September. 

Cinema event organisers extraordinaire, The Village Screen's commitment to giving customers the opportunity to enjoy their legendary events in the safest way possible, has seen the introduction of Drive Thru events at Kenwood Hall and Gulliver’s Valley, as well as the signature Cave Cinema experience at Peak Cavern.

Over the first weekend of September, film goers will be able to choose from three cult classics – chosen to cater for everyone. Starting off the run at Kenwood Hall, on Thursday 2 September, is The Grand Budapest Hotel - the Wes Anderson favourite. Watching this with the backdrop of Sheffield’s very own stunning hotel will be incredible! Friday 3 September will be your chance to see Moulin Rouge! in what is the film’s twentieth year. The last evening, Saturday 4 September, will see family favourite, Jurassic Park, perfect if you have kids or just a big kid at heart.

Kenwood Hall Hotel is one of Sheffield’s beautiful boutique hotels found in Netheredge. The Open-Air Cinema will be taking place in the hotel’s grounds, surrounded by trees, making the experience really private, exclusive and unique. Add to this the opportunity to hire vintage style deckchairs and you really can enjoy the outdoors and late summer evenings in style.

If you haven’t had the pleasure of experiencing a Village Screen event before, then as with all of the events they deliver, the entertainment just makes the experience all the more unique. Prior to the film, guests can enjoy a local band, as well as being able to purchase food from a number of local Sheffield street food legends, confirmed so far are Pimlico Pizzas and The Bhaji Shop.
