About

Trail Advantage deliver MTB sessions in Sheffield and the Peaks, giving access to a huge variety of coaching environments from the green suburbs and parks, and into the open moors and edges of the Peak District. They specialise in offering MTB skills and coaching courses for riders new to mountain biking who wish to develop the fundamentals, and riders at an intermediate level, looking to improve their skills and understanding of riding techniques to improve skills and confidence. 

The maximum group size is 8 so that clients get the focus they deserve. They can also deliver 1 2 1 coaching sessions and group sessions, so get in touch discuss your requirements. They also deliver family skills sessions which are a great way to start your family adventure and to develop skills and understanding of the fundamentals of MTB. They cover some basic trail-side maintenance and techniques to tackle some of the family friendly routes round Sheffield and the Peak.

Learn and develop in confidence with the Trail Advantage experience

Adam Simmonite is the owner of Trail Advantage and has been riding the trails since 1988. As well as loads of miles and experience, he also holds a British Cycling level 2 MTB qualification and TCL qualification (SMBLA), also recognised by British Cycling. To keep things safe and running smoothly Adam also holds an Outdoors First Aid (16hr) qualification and  holds an enhanced DBS certificate. He is also a certified Cytech 2 cycle mechanic.

Adam is also a Ride Sheffield Ambassador, supporting and promoting the trail advocacy work of local group 'Ride Sheffield'. Why not join them on a dig day or support the Radmires project. More information at ridesheffield.org
