Peak Cycling are a small, friendly, independent cycle guiding and training company operating in the Peak District. They have an extensive knowledge of the trails, tracks and roads in the Peak District. They can take you on classic wild Mountain bike trails, quiet roads away from busy traffic, or secret gravel tracks.

They tailor rides to suit your ability and the type of ride you want to do. If you have not tried Mountain or Gravel riding they offer relaxed “taster” ½ or full day experiences so you can find out what they are about without feeling out of you depth. If you want to try something harder they know the technical trails too. If you are put off road cycling by busy traffic they can help you gain confidence by taking you on quiet country lanes where cars are few. If you want an epic road ride, or want to experience what a pro does for a day (but in a more relaxed way), ride the roads used by the Tour de France, the Tour De Yorkshire, the Women’s Tour and the Tour of Britain.

You can even ride the cobbles and tracks used by one of the pro-tour teams as training for classics such as the Tour of Flanders. It’s all here. Van support is also available on our longer days. Check the website for full details but if you don’t see what you want please contact them and they can put a bespoke experience together for you.

They have a small stock of good quality gravel/road bikes you can hire as well as mountain bikes if you don’t have your own (please note their bikes are not for hire separately and are only available as part of our rides).

Peak Cycling are British Cycling mtb guides and they keep group sizes small. Let them organise your ride so you can concentrate on having fun.
