In the market for a new bike? Cotic Bikes are hosting a Demo Day at Lady Cannings on Sunday 11 March.
Riders will have an exclusive opportunity to test multiple bikes back to back, to get an idea of which model and size is right for them, while Cotic representatives will be on hand to make sure each bike is correctly set up, answer people’s questions and talk through the range.
While the event is ideal for those with a bit of mountain biking experience, it is not aimed at expert riders, as Lady Cannings can be ridden by anybody with reasonable fitness, regardless of technical skill. You’ll have up to 30 minutes to trial a bike, which is plenty of time to do a few laps of the plantation.
Riders will need to fill in a disclaimer beforehand and bring their own mountain biking gear and helmet (safety first, anyone without a helmet will not be allowed to demo a bike). They’ll also need to bring their own pedals which a Cotic representative will fit to the bike.
This event is part of a programme of fringe activity running in conjunction with The Outdoor City Weekender 9 - 11 March.
